Child Care Professional Training
The Council for Children & Families (CCF) offers early childhood education for professional child care workers in Seattle, Washington and its surrounding communities.
CDA Credentials We are experts in helping child care providers complete requirements necessary to receive their Child Development Associate National Credentials (CDA). Our president, Tatiana Sikora has developed a unique preparation program called the CDA Success Program. Participation in the CDA Success Program guarantees assistance with all components of the CDA process. We specialize in teaching adults whose primary language is other than English and we are regularly working with children in Day Care Centers and/or Family Child Care. |
Additional CDA Services
For child care providers who do not need the whole CDA Success Program but can benefit from help with a part of the CDA process, we offer separately: CDA Classes, CDA Assessment Observations, preparation of a Professional Resource File, preparation for the Final Test and CDA Renewal.
S.T.A.R.S. Classes
Our training staff are all approved STARS trainers. We offer both 10 and 20
Hour STARS training classes. These classes are offered throughout the year depending
on registration in Seattle, Lynnwood, Shoreline, Bellevue, Kirkland, Bothell,
Edmonds, Tukwila, and Everett. We look forward to expanding our class offerings
to additional cities throughout Washington State.
New Providers Services
For people who are starting new child care businesses we offer a number of services designed to organize developmentally appropriate environments and help in finding the first children you will serve. Our Early Childhood Consulting Service gives new business owners easy access to highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Professionals.
